The North Yorkshire Open Studios event is happening again in 2019 - hurrah! I visited it a few years ago, travelling up from London and visiting the area east of Harrogate where I was staying. Because the studios are where the artists/makers live and work then they are spread out a bit so pre-planning your visit is advisable. But as North Yorkshire is such a beautiful county then travelling round it is not in any way a chore.
This year I am taking part along with 100 other professional artists who have been selected for the event.It will take place over the first two weekends in June. You can register your interest and you will receive a booklet with maps and details of the artists and their work so you can make the most of your day/weekend. Details can be found at:
