I do love colour – so why is so much of my work black and white? I will have to ponder this and come back to you!!
So as I was saying I love colour and this weekend has allowed me to indulge this passion to the full while:
a) Making myself more beautiful (albeit in a very subtle way!)
b) Doing some much needed DIY
c) Playing with paper, scissors and bits and bobs – much as I did as a child!
A year ago a friend gave me a 30 voucher for The Cowshed for my birthday. It expired in 365 days and as Friday was day 365 I decided that might be a good day to use it! The Cowshed is a lovely place to go (or the one in Foubert’s Place is anyway) but 30 doesn’t buy you a whole lot of treatments there. I wanted a little bit of luxury – I deserve it as sometimes at least I work hard, and I’m sure that is what Judy would have wanted (she is still alive by the way – happy and living in Archway as far as I know!).
So I booked in for a pedicure. I was hoping they could turn the dry skin on my heels into soft silky skin but there are obviously limits as to what can be achieved in half an hour . . . so moving swiftly on . . . .
The pedicure turned out to be a very relaxing and pleasant experience and the result is wonderfully beautiful toenails in a colour called “Bungle jungle”. In fact this is so beautiful that I am going to share the moment with you visually – behold my feet with Bungle jungle toenails . . . . now heaven walks on earth . . . .
