Life is a bowl of cherries...

Literally! This year we have had a magnificent crop on the tree in the garden, so it’s been, clafouti (the only cherry recipe I can find) and jam and eating them by the barrel load. That is all coming to an end though now as although there are plenty more on the tree they are now at a height that I have to stretch to reach them which is getting a bit dangerous, so the rest can be for the birds! During this mad cherry fest I discovered that cherry juice almost inevitably gets all over your clothes, but that it washes out easily – hoorah!
